Upon arrival the Tech. found the American Standard R22 AC System from 1996 was not working due to being empty of refrigerant. The Furnace is a Down Flow.
* Based upon both Age as well as the System being an R22 System we recommend replacement with a Lennox 2-1/2 Ton 13 SEER (R410A) Condenser, a matched Down Flow 2-1/2 Ton A-Coil, Fabricate and Install a Custom Sheet Metal Face to accommodate the new A-Coil, Flush the existing refrigerant lines, Replace the Electrical Whip at the New AC Condenser, Set the Condenser on the existing AC Pad, and Pressure Test, Pump into Vacuum, and Check that the AC System is at Manufacturers Refrigerant Specification.
