Upon arrival the Tech. found the Tempstar AC system from 2011 was empty of R410A Refrigerant. An Electronic Leak Check was performed after adding 1 Lb. R410A Refrigerant to allow for the test. Multiple leaks were located at the A-Coil, and the Schrader Valves were leaking at the Condenser. Replacement of the entire AC System as follows is one option, however, at a minimum, the A-Coil will need replacement along with the Schrader Valves on the Condensing Unit, and then, the AC system will need to be Pressure Tested, Pumped into a Vacuum, and re-charged with R410A Refrigerant as per Manufacturers Specification.

Upon arrival the Tech. found the Carrier R22 AC System from 2001 was not working due to a bad Compressor. Although it appears the Capacitor was recently replaced, and a Hard Start Kit had been installed, the Compressor won't stay running and is making alot of noise. * Based upon both Age as well as the System being an R22 System we recommend replacement with a Lennox 4-Ton 13 SEER (R410A) Condenser, a matched 4-Ton A-Coil, Fabricate and Install a Custom Sheet Metal Transition to accommodate the new A-Coil, Flush the existing refrigerant lines, Replace the Electrical Whip at the New AC Condenser, Set the Condenser on the existing AC Pad, and Pressure Test, Pump into Vacuum, and Check that the AC System is at Manufacturers Refrigerant Specification.

Upon arrival the Tech. found the York R22 AC System from 2002 was not operating due to being low on R22 Refrigerant. - R22 Refrigerant was added to the System to allow a Electronic Leak Test to be performed. - The Electronic Leak Test detected leaks at both Condenser & A-Coil. 7/5/19 Per George Bellows at IH, we returned to the property to charge the system with the hope that the AC System would make it through the 2019 AC Season. 3 Lbs. of R22 were added to the existing York AC System from 2002. (THIS WORK HAS ALREADY BEEN COMPLETED!)
